This week has been really really good, and has had a lot of things that have been great. but it hasn’t involved nearly as much sleep as I would like.
Rosy is going through some sort of sleep regression that we’re working through, so we haven’t had very much sleep around here the past few days. Even still, it’s been really sweet to look around and point out the blessings in the middle of the mundane.
In the middle of changing diapers, wiping down a high chair, and nursing a fussy baby, I’ve been mindful. The funny thing is, it turns out I’m really thankful for all of the things that are supposed to be not so great in this season.
I’m thankful for changing the diapers and hearing my baby girl giggle while I talk to her. I’m thankful for the high chair being completely messy because that means I just got to watch my sweet babe feed herself. I’m thankful for being able to nurse my precious girl and build that strong bond.
It’s just the best, and this season is my favorite.
Here are some of the things that stuck out to me this week and have just made me feel so dang grateful.
