We’ve done several cycles (10 days) of 5 ingredient meals. Check those out here! I thought it was time that we did one with chicken!
Eating only 5 ingredients for dinner allows me to save time, money and keeps food waste at a minimum. It’s a really simple way to make your grocery budget stretch a little bit further if you need it to!
To me, comfort food is a steaming hot casserole dish full of chicken and rice. That’s why these 5 ingredient meals are going to be EASY for me. I love rice. I love chicken. Everything else is just an extra perk as far as I’m concerned!
With a few of my 5 ingredient cycles, I’ve had to get pretty creative and outside of my comfort cooking box. That is not the case with this cycle! I’m cooking up some of our family favorites and saving a lot of money while I’m at it!
