Every week I look through the Kroger Weekly Ad and digital coupons before I even think about what we’re having for dinner. This week’s deals were too good to pass up — especially on meat, produce, and dairy — so I planned our 7-day meal plan around them.
I don’t buy everything just because it’s on sale. I buy what we actually use, and this week I was able to stock up on staples we’ll use in multiple meals — all while staying well under budget.
Even though I build my meal plan around Kroger’s best deals each week, I still buy other items to round out our meals and snacks. Not everything we eat is on sale — and that’s okay. I’ll grab things like fruit, milk, bread, or lunchbox snacks even if they’re regular price, because they’re part of what keeps our meals balanced and realistic. The key is that my main ingredients — the meats, produce, and pantry staples that form the base of our meals — are always planned around the best weekly deals. That’s what helps keep our grocery total low while still giving us the flexibility to eat well all week.

This is my actual Kroger receipt from this week’s pickup order:
Total before coupons and sales: $184.41
Total after digital coupons and store sales: $100.20
Total saved: $86.16
Almost all of that came from digital coupons and Weekly Digital Deals I clipped right in the app — no paper coupons, no rebate apps, and no extra hassle.
What I Bought on Sale with Kroger Sales 11/5/2025
Here’s a look at what came home with me this week:
- Kroger 2lb cheese
- Happy Egg Company Eggs
- Ore-Ida Frozen Potatoes
- Soda 12 pack cans (buy 2 get 3 free!!)
- Ground beef
- Toll House Chocolate Chips
- Birds Eye Steam Fresh Veggies
- Chobani Coffee Creamer
- Philadelphia Cream Cheese
- Halo Mandarin Oranges
Just as a note, I do buy other things. This is my purely coupon based grocery shop. I buy things that are a great deal that my family eats when they are on sale. This way, I have a freezer stocked with cheaper items when I need them. I base how my family eats for the week around what is on sale. I pair it with other items that I have bought previously (on sale!).
How I Planned the Kroger Haul
I started by clipping all of the digital coupons that made sense for us — especially the Weekly Digital Deals that can be used up to five times in a single transaction. Then I looked through the sale flyer and matched the best prices to meals we already enjoy.
From there, I made my list in the Kroger app right in my cart. It automatically shows me how each coupon is being applied and even shows if there is a coupon for an item that I missed!
Final Thoughts on Sales at Kroger 11/19/25-11/27/25
This week’s haul set us up for a full week of easy, family-friendly meals — cheeseburger soup to a picnic dinner — all from one well-planned Kroger trip.
I’ll keep sharing these weekly hauls and meal plans to show how simple it can be to save money without sacrificing quality.
