We are 10 days into our first cycle of eating only 5 ingredients for 10 days. I really thought that I would get SO tired of those ingredients but I didn’t!
I prepared them in totally different ways every night, and it was really fun and delicious!
It also saved a TON of money. Buying larger packages of ingredients and using all of it cut down on costs a lot.
If you’re interested in my first round of 5 ingredients for 10 dinners click here!
We did a keto 5 ingredients 10 dinners cycle too, check it out here!
And if you want to read more about how I meal plan to save a ton of money, you can do that here!
For the next 10 days, we’re ditching the 5 ingredients from the last 10 days and starting fresh!
My grocery haul for the next 10 days includes all of the food our family of 4 will eat for all meals and snacks.
We are only eating 5 ingredients for dinner, but there are definitely other foods in our haul for the other two meals of the day.
For February 11-20, I’ll be cooking dinner only with:
- Sweet Potatoes
- Rice
- Black Beans
- Eggs
- Spinach
If you didn’t notice, it’s vegetarian!
We’ve done this for keto and beef already, so it seemed like it was time to go a little less meat heavy.
The total for our family meal plan for the next 10 days is $86.60!
Cutting out meat really is an easy way to save a lot of money!
