For the next 10 days I’m feeding my family for just under $88! We eat everything at home except for a few planned eat outs a month. Breakfast, lunch and dinner we’re all at home and eating from these groceries.
There are 4 of us, and my kids eat pretty good sized portions of food.
I meal plan every 10 days and then grocery shop from that plan. We don’t waste food. If anything is left over before the next grocery haul it is either eaten or frozen so that it will keep longer. I hate wasting food and it’s also the fastest way to spend way too much money on groceries!
We buy only what we need, and I almost always use a pick-up service to grocery shop so that I don’t have any of those impulse purchases that we all make when we’re walking around the grocery!
I’m also 7 months pregnant, so the number of things that look SO delicious right now are at an all time high!
