Check out exactly how I do that on a super tight budget here!
To give you a little context, we’re of 5 with a 4 and 2 year old who eat kid sized portions and a baby.
Our spending will obviously increase as our family grows (and hello inflation!). But for now, this is what works for us. We aren’t buying more than we need and rarely does any food go to waste.
When I grocery shop, it is because our refrigerator and cabinets are almost completely bare. I look around and find out what I can make with what we have left and plan based on that.
You can check out all of my family meal meal plans (I have a TON!) here!
